The next day, the police arrive at Soo-ha’s school. They are looking for a witness to the murder. A young, fearless high school student named (age 18) is also there. She is known for being sharp-tongued and pragmatic.

Soo-ha realizes he has suddenly developed a supernatural ability:

(Translation: “I’m that child whose life you saved that day. I made a promise… I will always protect you. I am here now. No one can hurt you.”)

He looks at her with tearful eyes and says, “Thank you. You saved my life. One day, I will protect you. I promise.”
