The story follows Valeria, a overachieving 16-year-old nanny, and her laid-back best friend, Lupe, who land their dream summer job watching the quirky Méndez siblings. When the youngest accidentally swaps a family heirloom for a toy at the local market, the duo must race across town to recover it before the parents return. Along the way, they stumble into a slapstick chase involving a mischievous street musician, a fleet of skateboarding delivery drivers, and a very confused llama named Pepón.

When I first popped on Una Aventura de Nineras , I expected the usual: a predictable kids’ movie about babysitters chasing a toddler around the house. What I got instead was a charming, heartfelt, and surprisingly clever Spanish-language family film that kept my two kids (ages 6 and 9) glued to the screen—and even had me laughing out loud.

Ages 5–10, parents who miss The Baby-Sitters Club vibes, and anyone who enjoys a good slapstick chase with a fluffy animal.
