The EX Pro 2 uses magnetic/contact sensors (not cheap piezo). Out of the box, it registers light taps well. You can adjust the sensitivity via the internal pots (potentiometers) if you find it too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Input lag is negligible on a good PC. You must remove this
