Unable to stand the horror, the four friends seek help from a powerful shaman (Mor Dok). The shaman explains that Nak is not evil but trapped — her love for Mak is so strong that her spirit refuses to pass on. The only way to stop her is to make Mak .

That night, the shaman performs a ritual. Nak manifests as a terrifying demon: eyes bleeding, neck snapping backward, crawling on the ceiling. The shaman is killed instantly. One friend is possessed and stabs another. Chaos erupts. Mak breaks down
For the first time, Nak’s ghost cries tears of blood. Her monstrous form fades, revealing the beautiful woman she once was. She kisses Mak one last time — and then dissolves into golden light, finally at peace.
Mak, oblivious in his happiness, sees nothing wrong. His friends, however, begin to hear terrifying rumors from the villagers: while Mak was away at war. She and the baby have been dead for months.
