The movie follows the life of a poor farmer, Muthusamy, who lives with his wife and two children in a small village. Despite struggling to make ends meet, Muthusamy is a kind-hearted man who always puts his family first. When his daughter, Abhi, gets a chance to study in a good school, Muthusamy makes immense sacrifices to ensure she gets a bright future. The movie takes a dramatic turn when Abhi grows up and returns to her village to take care of her ailing father.
